To buy a token on the Solana network, start by creating a Phantom wallet. Download the official Phantom extension or app from its website and install it on your browser or mobile device. Follow the setup instructions, including creating a password and securely storing your seed phrase. Next, transfer SOL, Solana's native currency, to your Phantom wallet address. You can purchase SOL on exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, or Kraken and send it to your Phantom address.

Connect your Phantom wallet to a decentralized exchange (DEX) on the Solana network, such as Raydium, Jupiter, or Orca. Visit the chosen DEX's website, click "Connect Wallet", select Phantom from the wallet options, and approve the connection in your Phantom wallet. Once connected, your wallet will be ready to trade on the DEX.

You can now exchange SOL for your desired token. On the DEX interface, choose SOL in the "From" field and select the token you want in the "To" field. If the token is not listed, you can manually input its contract address. Enter the amount of SOL you wish to swap, and the DEX will display the estimated amount of the token you'll receive. Click "Swap" or "Exchange", review the transaction details, and confirm it in your Phantom wallet. The transaction will be processed on the Solana blockchain, and the tokens will be credited to your wallet once confirmed.

To view your purchased tokens, open the Phantom wallet. If the token doesn't appear automatically, click "Manage Tokens" (settings icon in the tokens tab), search for the token, or manually add it using its contract address. Once added, you can manage, send, or use your tokens directly from the Phantom wallet.
